ISSUES WE CARE ABOUT OR WHICH AFFECT US
Celibacy and Relationships
Over the last 20+ years I have continued to research and write about homosexuality, celibacy and relationship, in an effort to diffuse the common misunderstandings about requiring celibacy of lesbian and gay church professionals. Celibacy is a gift, a charism of the Holy Spirit, which is given only to a few. So if we don't have that gift of the Spirit, what do the rest of us do? I offer this brief discussion, from a Lutheran perspective, of some of the issues.

Public Policy
Ministers should stay out of politics. We all agree to that. But when the Internal Revenue Service went after Rev. George Regas of All Saints' Episcopal Church in Pasadena, because he dared to critique the 2004 Presidential candidates through the eyes of Jesus Christ, they over-reached into moral and theological issues which belong to the people of God, not to goverment agencies or candidates for public office.
